The Smartan House hosted Mr. Wale Salami, a Nigerian-American angel investor, venture capitalist, U.S. Army veteran, and cloud computing professional, in an engaging and insightful session. Mr. Salami shared simple but intense ideas about success, growth, and the importance of taking action. He emphasized how exposure changes our perspective and how success requires two kinds of work: private and public. While speaking, he noted, “The only thing that happens by mistake is failure; success doesn’t happen by mistake.”
The session, which was highly interactive, Mr. Salami ask thought-provoking questions and provide meaningful answers that resonated with the Smartans. He encouraged them to see challenges as opportunities, stating, “When you build something, that thing builds you,” and urged them to focus on actions over words.
